felt heart, Babazeka
So I’ve been blogging about Christmas and gifting and all the amazing bling for your festive parties. So you should be smelling like daises, sparkling like a Christmas tree and hopefully recycling heeps of wrapping paper by end December.
Somehow after all that I still feel empty. At the end of the day, R2 or R2000, it’s just stuff. Think of all of it having no value, would you still like it as much. If every kid on the block had a Ferrari would it still be so appealing? Makes you think.. so why not hold back on so much stuff, and put your money somewhere where it’s needed. Retailers say they’re struggling, but trust me, they still comes to shoots in their BMW’s, that’s not struggling.
I sound like I am contradicting myself, I don’t mean to, if you can afford to buy all the beautiful things I blogged about (and they are beautiful! Thanks to the suppliers that provided me with pictures), then why not? It’s just to stop and think!
Here’s how you can help someone less fortunate, that really is struggling!

Wow, this was such a great little exercise, emotional, tears were shed, but I learnt a lot and that there are just so many people in need, and there are so many more charities and communities out there, these are just a few. If you know of any others you’d like to mention, e-mail me on [email protected] so that I may post it on my site.
I opened a Christmas cracker, a box I had from a shoot last year, just to see what type of stuff was inside, there was a sweet little silver star shaped charm. The message inside read: Love out weighs gold! I know I’ll keep that message with me this Christmas.
You don’t have to save the world over night, one small good deed will lead to another.
