This drawing by 12 yr old Julia came no. one in the world!
Aren’t these chalk drawings beautiful. Wow! Next Friday is CHALK$PEACE and they are looking for any help they can get. Angel Director of CATh programme says:
“I just wanted to remind you all about CHALK4PEACE next week, on Friday 18th, from 10:00 until 12 noon!
The Dean will be opening proceedings at 10:00, and it is highly possible that the Premier will be there. The Premier’s office has asked for photographs and information about past events, so here’s hoping….
Our biggest challenges thus far……
- we’ll most likely be having MORE than 100 children!! (so need more volunteers, donations for chalk etc)
- 29 of these children are CATh kids from Nyanga, and I need to find transport for them. I’ll be setting up tables, urn etc. at the Cathedral, so cannot collect kids as well. Have been quoted R600, which we just cannot justify….. or can we? Please give your input / comments / suggestions! “ Angela mentioned they were looking for cupcakes and fariy cakes for the kids, maybe there are some budding chefs out there wanting to help
