Following your passion

Blogging hero, Garance Dore’ has just landed the cover of Elle UK, well she’s illustrated it. I love her post on it here.

She says: ‘I just want to say to everyone like me who chose slightly more complicated paths, the roads less traveled, the ones with lots of roadblocks and long stretches of anguish, I just want to say that the most important thing is to always be moving toward your desire. Just do the things that make you smile and you’ll always end up somewhere. Even if that place is not anywhere you’d imagined you’d be at the start.

As it was on this illustrator’s path that one fine day, frustrated by yet another horoscope commission (Rarrrrr, shit, how am I supposed to draw a brand new Sagittarius for the 6th time?), I made the decision to start this blog. …Just to draw what I wanted and hear what people like me thought of my drawings.’
