What makes me proud to be a woman is the fact that I am strong (emotionally), yet I can cry when I want to without feeling ashamed. I am proud because I don’t need to make excuses for who I am or what I have done. I love being a woman because I don’t need to make an excuse when I take 2hours to get ready for a party. I get to dress up, wear make-up and be beautiful. I love being a woman because I get to multi-task, while thinking what’s for dinner, making a shopping list, putting together a slideshow, blogging and giving advice to friends, all while wearing stilettos.
There are just way too many reasons that I can’t possibly list here! I don’t need to shave my face and I can have a different hairstyle everyday! I can be reckless, impulsive and responsible, all at the same time. See, this is turning into a list.
Being a woman, is just absolutely GREAT!

Because I can express any and all of the following emotions in one day and no-one will think I am crazy…..extreme happiness….sudden bursts of tears…crazy laughter…urge to PK(bitch slap) someone…annoyed beyond belief…amused by stupid things…over confident…confused…hysterical… insanely insecure… …lonely…
paranoid…sexy…terrified…worried…stressed… down…extatic…
And last but not least, a women looks way more dashing with a pair of sunglasses than a man!

I’m proudest to be the mother of two incredible little people. For me there is no greater honour or reward.
I am proud to be a woman for numerous reasons.
Women are strong. It is often said that a man is the head of the household, but this is not true in my experience. I know women to be the glue and strength in any family. I know women as the ones who fix problems and make things better. I know women to be comforting, loving and encouraging.
Women can multitask! This is an impressive feat! It’s not easy to run a household, be a career woman and stay gorgeous while doing so!

I am not sure what makes me proud to be a woman… To be honest I think that male or female, we should all be honoured, we are both unique in our own ways and I love those differences. I have 3 brothers and no sisters, so I always felt I brought a balance to the picture, the way they acted as the equilibrium towards me.
I suppose I believe that what makes it worth celebrating is the fact that I strive to be the best person I can be, regardless of my gender, and that to me, I suppose, is what would make me proud to be a woman.
I’m proud to be a woman because I heal with a touch, I love unconditionally, I motivate with thrust, I bring calmness with words, even though I don’t say too much, I inspire with a smile, find support in friendship and walk the mile, to be myself, be the best I am, always have the will to go on, grateful for love, feminine and strong, to say I can!
what makes me most proud of being a woman is acknowledging the strength of our mothers but also the “mistakes” and making sure we “do better” for ourselves and daughters without putting too much pressure on ourselves and our daughters – moving forward while looking back with reverance- and doing all this looking fabulous
Why Am I proud? Because Im not a man..not not bashing them.
But as women we are all different yet the same. We can be anything, do anything. We are moms, wives, daughters, lovers, friends etc, we are all that and we don’t have to sactifice the one to be the other.
We are strong and soft, loveable, hateable and so much more.
Best of all we get to carry the children

I am so proud to be a woman because we bring life into the world, we are the peacemakers and nurturers, we love unconditionally, we are communicators and relational above all else. We thrive on beauty that is more than skin deep, a caring thought, a gentle touch. We share ourselves with those in need.
We also are great multi-taskers but we have also realized, with experience, that we don’t have to be Superwoman to be worthy of respect and love.
We know how to have fun, laugh wholeheartedly and dance like there is no-one else in the room. We allow ourselves to be emotional and vulnerable and find our strength there.
I am proud to be a woman because we give ourselves away all the time, and in doing so we are refilled.
Being a woman means strength. Juggling work, kids,family and everything else that life throws at us everyday. Its phenomenal but us women do it everyday without even batting a waterproof mascared eyelash. This is what makes me proud to be a woman.

Why am I proud to be a woman?
Being a woman (and being proud of it) is embracing all that is beautiful, delicate and appreciating the finer things in life. Woman have a divine sense of passion in all situations (especially in those relating to work and family) and I think that this makes us unique to men! …And I’m sorry, but men cannot understand the concept of a good shopping spree and the joy of putting your feet in a brand new pair of shoes!!! LOL

Why I am proud to be a woman?
For me being a woman in the 21st C allows us the opportunity to celebrate so many beautiful things about our gender! Especially living in a country like SA, each and every day we are reminded either by our own accomplishments and through the example of others of what it means to be true to ourselves and what we are worth if we welcome the opportunities that present themselves. Time and again we have heard the wonderful stories of women conquering life’s challenges of divorce, single-parenting, poverty, HIV/AIDS, cancers, rape etc & this is a real celebration of what we as women are capable of achieving & serves as a greater lesson to the “sisterhood.” As women we have the opportunity to celebrate & contribute in so many wonderful ways, as: moms, wives, sisters, caregivers, entrepreneurs, ambitious career climbers…if it is imaginable, we know that it is possible if you are a women! At the same time I am so proud to be a women because we have an unspoken connection with other women who are walking a similar path..we are able to empathise & understand even if we don’t even know each other so well. Living life as a woman in SA is beautiful – we should be proud!

Why do I love being a woman:
I love being a woman because it makes me who I am – a wife, a mother, a friend. I am girly girl and adore make-up and beauty products, hair products! Very often as I apply my make-up and put on my earrings and sexy lingerie and get dresses (always starting with my heels) I feel sorry for men. They just don’t get ‘it’ and they will never experience ‘it’.
I am a mother to 3 children and I enjoyed my pregnancies and my ability to create three perfect human beings! I remember, thinking to myself often, just how grateful I was not be a man. I savoured my femininity.
I love being able to be passionate, emotional and creative. I love being woman because we are amazing at everything we do. WE ROCK!
“I love being a woman”, I know nothing else better for me, im a simple female who needs a few things to get by, but I revel in my femininity when I see fit cos I can, cos I am a WOMAN.
More reasons that make it GREAT being a woman!
A women has strength that amaze men. We can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens. We hold happiness, love and opinions. We smile when we actually feel like screaming. We sing when we feel like crying, cry when we’re happy and laugh when we’re afraid. Our love is unconditional! The only thing is, we sometimes FORGET what we are worth.

Women are amazing multi-taskers. Being able to do a million things at once makes us unique and invaluable. Juggling the balancing act which is life makes me proud to be a woman! We can look like a million dollars, while balancing our baby on our hip, checking the sandcastle that our toddler just made, sms the builder the number of the electrician and still be able to tell our husband where is flip flops are while the dinner cooks on the stove! Damm we good!
First of all, I typed out a very long answer which was lost. Women are patient – and I am willing to retype it. Also because women appreciate beautiful things – like Miu Miu sunglasses
I am proud, because…
I can be strong for myself and for other in the hardest of situations, even through tears.
We are thoughtful in what we say, do and feel – every day and in every situation. And we have the grace to admit when we were wrong.
We can manage a demanding career, while mastering the arts of a true domestic goddess (Googling delicious recipes for dinner while replying to countless emails is just one perfect example).
Always seeking growth, beauty and love in every single day and in every single situation or mindset.
We welcome love. And that is makes the world go round, after all…
We each have something unique that sets us apart. We are each special in our very own way. And we are each naturally beautiful, especially to those that love us most for all of our unique attributes.
At the end of the day, it comes down to one thing, women are just so incredibly special – even when we feel that we aren’t.

Well I love being a woman because I can be down and out but I’ll always rise above any challenge with my head held high. And I can do just about anything a man can do…but I can do it in high heels. I’m on top of the world if my loved ones are happy.
I love being a woman because I bring joy and warmth to those around me. Happy Women’s Day. 
What makes me proud to be a women, is to be a mom, and a wife, a daughter and a sister.each has its own place, and none makes me less proud, but rather elated to get up everyday, kiss my husband, make my son laugh! And now and then, make lunch for my parents, and have a, sushi/movie/red wine evening with my great sister! Its all about family!:)
