1.) Pick one! Lipstick, Mascara or blusher? Why?

Mascara! You can get away with minimal make-up if you have good skin and good bone structure, however using mascara will always ensure you look bright eyed and fresh.

2.) Any make up trends for summer we should know of?

There is a wide range of trends. Some designers have chosen to keep models faces minimal and sculpted, while others have chosen bright brave lip colours ranging from corrals to reds.

3.) What does your typical day consist of?

Getting out of bed for a start and getting myself and my kids ready, then dropping them at school, afterwards driving to various and beautiful locations, deciding what look to do on a new model just arrived fresh from Brazil. (Normally with no English to speak of and very little experience. Teach her “look up”, “look down”. ) Shoot until the sun is on its last legs (usually 7 or 8 depending on the season). Drive home, pick up something for dinner. Cook, bath kids, do homework, put them to bed, then return e-mails and do research, and Finally! Finally, read a new Vogue in bed! Bliss!

It is a very busy, full and fast paced industry with a hectic schedule at times, but I still love it all and it provides me with plenty of inspiration and adrenaline.

Anything really, I love a wide range of music from Taylor Swift to Frank Sinatra

5.) Favorite designers

a.) Local, Black Coffee, Suzaan Heyns and Clive Rundle.

b.) International, Tracey Reese, John Galliano, Victor and Rolfe.

6.) Favorite girlie drink

7.) What’s in your handbag?

Make-up (obviously), perfume, sunglasses, nail remover wipes, hand cream and a measuring tape ( I am hunting for furniture to fit on my patio perfectly).

8.) How many pairs of shoes do you have?

I have a measly 18, but my 3yr old daughter has 42 ! Clearly my hard earned cash is spent on a much smaller size lately.

9.) Favorite fragrance

I change every season but right now Nanatte Lapore

10.) Painted any celeb faces?

Kimora-Lee Simmonds, Caprice, Lady Victoria Spencer, Judith Sephuma, Lira, Louise Carver, Tamara Dey, Connie Ferguson and Zolani Mahola…..
