Today I got to go and play in the Woolworths Beauty Department. Fun? I think so!
I wanted to achieve a look that’s wearable everyday and that says ‘Summer’ as apposed to wintery purples and plums.
Firstly I got my face cleansed with the Normal To Dry Cleansing Cream from the Woolworths Private Label Skincare Range. No water needed, just apply this comforting cleanser onto cotton pads to cleanse. Then the Normal To Dry Balancing Day Cream was applied. I was very impressed that this daily moisturizer had an SPF of 25.
Next the Smashbox Photo Finish Colour Correcting Primer was applied to my face to even out skin tone. It can be used on its own to even out the skin tone, fine lines and minimize pores, or under foundation to also help it last longer.
The Woolworths Colour Longwear Maximum Coverage Foundation was applied over the primer. It’s great if you like a lot of coverage. It was a little heavy for me, but then I never wear a full foundation.
Next, my eyes were coloured using this awesome Benefit make-upset. Soft peachy-gold tones were applied. Perfect for everyday, these colours add a soft glow and subtle colour to the skin rather than a heavy ‘made-up’ look.
Next, lashings of the Woolworths Private Label Mascara and Peach Blusher. You can’t go wrong with a soft peachy cheek.
Ooooh, Gloss. Love the Sisley Phyto-Star Lip Gloss I’ve blogged about before.
Mm, camera and store lights absorbed a bit of the colour . . . but I did want a soft, natural, every day look. I’d definitely buy the Smashbox Primer. An even skin tone is always the best start to flawless skin. And my other highlights, the Woolworths Private Label Peach Blush, Sisley Phyto Lipgloss and I really liked the feeling of the Woolworths Private Label Normal to Dry Cream Cleaner. (Which is endoresed by beauty Without Cruelty)
Thanks Woolworths for letting me come and play for the day . . .
