Woolworths is a favourite fashion destination, from accessories such a leather handbags, pretty pumps, sexy sandals, the highest of heels, an indigo ocean of denim styles, comfy girly undies like JT one  to heart racingly lacey Distractions lingerie. Fom beach wear, office wear to that New Years Eve Frock, Woolworths keeps you one step ahead and in the fashion front row. I love them! But it’s not just I that loves them.

Woolworths has graced the pages of top S.A glossies and is up to trend with some of the worlds hottest looks!

Woolworths too offers summers hottest trend, striped swimwear and exotic brights in jewelry.

The Fabulist even graced a TV Talk Show or two . . .

Bangles go big and chunky with lots of ethnic flair. Woolworths boasts the perfect summer bangles below, stack them and make a statement.

And while you think your man knows nothing about fashion, Woolworths and some of S.A’s top glossies keep him in the loop too.

So we know the mags love Woolworths, but what did some of S.A’s celebs and industry leaders have to say about Woolworths? I asked them what their favourite Woolworths purchase has been.

Lyndal Jarvis, model and Top Billing Presenter says she, “Loves loves loves her RE jeans and a pair of slippers that she lives in”

Also love my RE jeans! Skinnies and shorts alike!

Gerda Genis, one of S.A’s top photographers who’s shot the likes of Charlize Theron and for Woolworths of course, says this:

I can safely say that ALL my basics come from there…but my best is the thin strapped cotton vest with the bust support…I have them in all the colours that I like. And over the years, as I outgrew the tight shorter ones, they get cut off and worn as ‘support-bras’ over my usual bra for extra support when I am doing aerobic exercise. (I HATE sports-bras) The great thing is that they keep adapting the style and that they are now longer, which they need to be when you don’t want your tummy to show any more!!

Asking someone what there favourite Woolies’ purchase was is like asking someone to tell you which sibling they love more. Very difficult!! Over the years, I have bought so many wonderful items from Woolworths. A particular favourite is an anglaise type shift dress in black that I bought about two years ago and I still completely love – it’s classic and understated, but still really beautiful and I feel confident whenever I wear it.
South African Designer,  Alice Heusser for Lalesso says: My fave purchase has been this jumpsuit by Lalesso for Woolworths’ as seen at Cape Town Fashion Week. I have to agree, super cute!

Woolworths has even graced the covers of our favourite glossies and starred legends like Alek Wek in their campaigns. Wow! It’s truly been a fashionable year for Woolworths!

To end off, just to say, I salute all the Fashion Eds out there. It’s not all glamour and heels.There is alot of hard work put into these pages. I’m sure Woolworths agrees. To everyone who answered my question, thanks for taking the time to love Woolworths with me!

As for my favourite purchase, I’m sure you would have guessed. My Studio W Blazer, I’ve worn it to death already. Love it!
