Wine & design
Right, so I’m no foodie come wine blogger, and I’m not about to pretend to be, but I do love a glass or two of the good stuff, and this, I like!
But I’m not REALLY here to tell you about the wine anyway, but to CELEBRATE the fact that a South African Wine Label has stepped off the traditional packaging path of “long and winding, oak tree lined roads”, green and gold foiling and the “must have” African Animal. (There grunts all my family in the wine business) But I’m not about to slander tradition and heritage etc - I just love that this is something fresh and fun.
The old French Movie Poster is a clear design influence due to Wine Maker, Craig Hawkins’, travels and work experience abroad. The team at Lammershoek are one passionate bunch, and their fresh, young flair shows. They teamed up with Francois Rey of Monday Design to execute their vision.
I’m just loving these labels. Well done guys!
