Last week I went to Tosca Hair Salon at the Palmyra Junction Shopping Center in Claremont for a Brazililan Keratin Treatment and boy was I impressed.
Firstly the salon is lovely. It’s neat, pretty and intimate. I seriously can’t deal with messy work stations and clutter, but this salon was so neat and professional.
Right, so about the treatment. This treatment contains no harsh chemicals and actually improves the condition of ones hair by coating the hair with a protective keratin layer, eliminating fizzz, smoothing the hair and enhancing the hair colour. My husband actually asked me if I’d high lighted my hair again. The most amazing thing is, the next day, when I washed my hair and just blow dried it off, it was dead straight again. Oh the joys! Also, it’s so great just to be able to let your hair dry naturally without it going big and bushy and fizzy. This treatment rocks!
My hair after the treatment. So chuffed. Set aside some time before a treatment like this. It takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours. But it’s well worth it. The awesome thing about this treatment is you don’t have to avoid water, clips or pony tails. Hair is instantly straight and you can hit the gym immediately should you wish and last 3 to 4 months. I’d definitely do this again in the future.
