It’s Part 3 of my Babylonstoren stay ( See here for Part 1 and Part 2 if you missed it) as we end off with things to do on the farm.
Definitely pack your running/walking shoes as not only is there the beautiful garden to explore, but the farm is quite expansive and you can do a lovely walk or run up to the koppie and farm surroundings. There are also bikes available on the farm for guests to use if you’d prefer to cycle around the farm.
And yes, there is a spa! Aaaah, can you hear the angels sing! The spa has a gym with a view of note, and an indoor sauna, pool and Jacuzzi.
I had a glorious hour long massage using all natural Africology products. I loved that my treatment started with a foot soak. Different herbs were picked from the garden to either relax or rejuvenate and I could choose a combination of herbs or just one to add to my foot soak.
I felt super relaxed, a little tired and my skin felt nourished and supple as the essential oils worked their magic. You can see the treatment list here.
After breakfast you can take a tour of the gardens, and at 12, you can also go on a wine tasting! Definitely worth sampling!
I loved that there were so many inclusive activities and yet all very relaxing, wholesome ones.
On your way home, be sure to pop into their shop to buy some of the tasty treats your may have sampled during your stay! I had great fun shopping. I left with wine, honey and beautiful glass jars.
I look forward to returning to Babylonstoren, even if it’s to visit their new tea house for a slice of cake. A special stay in a special place.
