I’ve told you about a Qms Medicosmetics Facial before ( Read it HERE). Oh but have you seen one? This is just the most fabulous facial, not only for the results, but for its amazingly different masks. I documented my last facial for you to get a better idea.
Products used: Exfoliant fluid & Gentle Exfoliant Cream
After cleansing the skin , an exfoliation with alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA’s) & enzymes dissolve intercellular glue to rid the skin of excess build-up of dead skin.
Next a thick algae mask is applied. The Algae mask will cool the skin, lock in moisture and remove excess loosened dead skin cells. This mask is also used for skin analysis and correct recommendation of homecare products to suit individual skin needs. I’m so used to this mask now though you might think it looks a little daunting having your whole face covered. You can opt to have your mouth/eyes open.
The skin looks radiant and fresh after exfoliation and active ingredients can now penetrate 15% deeper into the skin. This is due to a patented technology by Dr Schulte – NEXTT.Next, Day Collagen is applied. This is a highly concentrated serum with natural soluble collagen and remarkable free radical protectors. It is moisturizing, firming, regenerative and protective.
Before applying the plaster of paris, a thick moisture regulating mask with botox-like properties (Relax-o-Firm mask) is applied over the collagen. The plaster of paris improves penetration of the Relax-o-Firm mask and enhances the lifting effect. I know it looks like painful face surgery. But the mask is super comfortable and comes of really easily. You just have to wriggle your face and pop, it’s off.
Once the plaster of paris mask is removed, excess mask is cleansed off and a suitable moisturizer, eye cream is applied, followed by sunprotection. I had the 24 hr cream, Sport Active (contains spf15) and Instant Perfection (eyes) applied.
