YSL has just launched their latest skin care revolution, YSL Forever Youth Liberator. Consisting of a team of chemists, biologists and dermatologists, YSL are the first to use glycobiology to rebuild the skin from within.
Glycons can be found in all layers of our skin and transport messages to the surface of the skin i.e. plump, smooth, radiance etc. As we age, glycons “die off”, hence the formation of fine lines, a dull skin etc. YSL Forever Youth Liberator helps to switch those glycons back on and active that youthful glow. Learn more about Gylcobiology in the video below.
Glycons begin to deteriorate from the age of 30, so this range is perfect from late 20′s onwards.
I love the soft subtle fragrance of these products. Just like a fragrance, it has top notes, that of bergamont and orange, middle floral notes of rose, orange and cherry blossom and base notes of patchouli, cedar and musk.
I’ve really been enjoying the Eye Cream (R695) with buckwheat for puffiness and dark circles. It’s a cream-gel consistency and a little goes a long way. If there is one product from the range you should get, let it be the serum. With 4 x the amount of ingredients, it’ll boost, lift, plump and add radiance to the skin.It contains glycolic acid that exfoliates the skin to get that youthful glow. The bottle was inspired by a tuxedo, YSL being one of the first to put a women in a tuxedo.
The range also consists of foaming cleanser (A little goes a long way here too), a revitalising toner, a combination to normal cream with spf 15, a comforting cream for dry skin with shea butter (no spf), so it’s great for night time and a fluid with spf 15.
Says YSL, “Youth is a state of mind that cannot live without science.”
