So I’ve never really been that familiar or keen on the Hush Puppies brand, but how cute is this campaign? Cute shoes too!
Hush Puppies’ name was coined when one of the employees at the tannery said that his mates’ dogs were quietened when they were given corn balls which at the time were known as Hush Puppies. Around the same time sore feet were commonly known as Barking Dogs – The idea was that those dogs could be calmed by putting on Hush Puppies; the analogy was started and stuck!
