One can really get stuck in a rut, like I was, and didn’t even know it. The same look year after year. Well they say change is as good as a holiday and I can’t agree more, and hair is the one thing that is really easy to change, besides, it grows back and a good cut can make you feel like a million dollars. So, Shelene of Tanaz and I have decided to do a 6 months hair diary. As you know, it’s already begun. Long blonde locks were snipped and my bob was born. Shelene has recently reshaped it for me too.
Says Tanaz on hair trends: “Hair will continue to rock. We anticipate more feminine short looks, more precision cuts with clean sharp lines. Expect to see more texture and movement. The modern man and woman want to look chic and polished with minimum effort. Do you have what it takes to move forward into high fashion looks that make you a style icon? At Tanaz you’ll get “the look that gets the looks!
I’ll also look and changing the colour of my hair too.
Says Tanaz on colour: “Look at your skin before you look at the hair colour chart! Choosing the perfect colour for your hair starts with your skin tone. If you are olive-skinned then a darker shade could suit you. Avoid going lighter than your skin colour as it will look unnatural.
Pink skin tones should avoid reds, orange-reds and golden browns. It’s best to stick to ash blondes, cool browns or cool reds.
Pale skin can usually get away with any colour. However, very dark colours will make extremely pale skin look even paler.
If you have a yellow skin tone, avoid yellow, gold and orange tones. Deep browns or cool browns will create the most flattering effect.
Tanaz’s top stylists are all colour experts and are at your service to match the right colour to your skin tone.”
