I love this romantic ponytail as seen at the Philosophy and Rosenwerth shows at MBFWCT created by ghd. ghd Regional Educator & one of ghd’s lead stylists for the MBFWCT styling team Jennifer Chatburn, tell us how to achieve this glamorous look.
To get the Rosenwerth/ Philosophy look:
Section your hair and curl it with a ghd Gold Classic styler (R1999) using large sections which have been prepared using ghd Style Curl Hold Spray (R195). To create ghd curls take a section of hair, place the styler horizontally into the hair, rotate 180 degrees and slowly pull through the length of the hair. REMEMBER: When creating curls, the slower you pull the styler through the hair, the tighter the curl. The faster you pull the styler through, the looser the curl.

- Soften these curls by turning your head upside-down and shaking out the curls as well as running your fingers through the hair.
- Create the ponytail by softly twist four sections of hair together and fastening loosely, keeping the ponytail soft and low.
- To finish off the look pull out a few pieces to make the look slightly messy, gently rouging the pony. To rouge the curls, hold each strand at the end and gently push the hair towards the root. REMEMBER that this will NOT damage your hair as you are using your fingers! Spray liberally with ghd Final Fix Hairspray (R150 for 400ml) to set the look in place.
- This look was tweaked for the Selfi, August and Black Coal shows by adding a more defined twist on the left hand side.
