I had a dream. A dream of not being briefed, but of sending the brief. Of not having to ask for approval, but to be the approver. I wanted to live the dream ~ work from home, have time for me and my family, meet a friend for coffee, get to the gym and live a fully rounded day. By unlocking the power of the internet, my dream became a reality! Having physically styled décor, fashion and beauty shoots, on-line I could be just as creative in these fields through my blog. The internet inspires! You don’t need to visit Pinterest to know that!

I have already unlocked the power of the internet by using it for genealogy research. I have managed to trace two family lines back to the mid 1700′s, and it’s ongoing…. Remembering your roots sets you right for the present and the future. This kind of knowledge can also be shared on the internet. Now that is power!

Courses these days are so expensive, time constrained and even more difficult to attend if you don’t have transport. But…the Internet is full of free information, tutorials and online workshops made easily available…all you need is the bandwidth. Through the Internet I’ve taught myself photography and digital graphics, just to name a few things. I don’t know where I would be without it.

Unlocking the power of the internet enables me to work & attend to personal stuff almost anywhere – home, malls, coffee shops, clients’ & suppliers’ premises… with the advent of smartphones (I currently have a BB 9800), this is extended to in bed, in the gym, in queues, driving as a passenger – the possibilities are almost unlimited.

I have statred a new job as a sales representative and I would like to unlock the power of the internet by navigating through my gps to new customers & looking up new ideas of how to approach new deals as well as get tips of the trade as well as us emails & facebook or twiiter as means of communication, so basically unlocking the power of the internet is my mission in order to survive in my new job!

Vodacom 13Billion rand profit last year, when most mom and pops are closing doors. It would be different if they actually provided a service that was unique, reliable and robust. UNlock the power of the internet, reduce the profits you are making per MB.

I unlock the internet by using it anytime, anywhere! My vodacom mobile usb goes with me and I can connect anywhere. And google is my dictionary, cookbook, and encyclopedia! ;)

Some people wish that unlocking the internet should be as easy as putting a key into a door and unlocking it.

Why can`t it be that easy? It should be……

It all starts with a wish, then we dream it and then we have the self belief and make it happen.

My wish is to bring internet usage to those who cannot afford it. Internet access should not cost an arm or leg for people to gain insight into a world of potential, a world of knowledge and a world of creativity.

Everyone has a dream of aspiring to greater hieghts in their life.

Unlocking the power of the internet to the under priveldged and helping them realise thier potentail and them gaining back their sef belief would be the greatest honour for me.

unlocking the internet has opened me to a world of education , freedom , socialising , shopping , choice and a world with no boundries. it can take me to Mauritius without airline tickets , it can take me shopping without a car , it can even answer my medical questions that id never dare to ask a doctor…. the internet for me is a key to opening a world of endless opportunities and a tool that needs to be used in a positive way.

I recently started working with hubby at our recently opened business, im supposed to be doing the computer work etc, but im soooooo computer illiterate & wouldnt know where to start. So id go onto internet & do research to become a pro before hubby fires me the first day! UNLOCKING THE POWER OF THE INTERNET WOULD SAVE MY FUTURE!

I want to stream my LIVE MIXES on housestationradio.com. To do that I need POWER and a GOOD DATA BUNDLE. Now to “unlock the power of the internet” 5GB + my Vodafone K4605 HSPA+ USB modem gives me POWER… this will definitely do the TRICK. My Mixes will stream seamlessly… no connection cuts just BLISS!

I have unlocked the power of the internet by making my own small blog website http://www.theblackappleonline.net/. I beleive the internet in SA will be “truly unlocked” if ALL Mobile operators in South Africa introduced cheap decent uncapped packages, cheaper per GB top up data on contracts and prepaid, as well as the cost of internet in SA comming down rapidly to 1st world like Internet pricing. This way, more people will be encouraged by hosting their websites / blogs in South Africa rather than in other countries, higher uptake in web hosting in SA, More bigger, better and faster websites being born in SA. When All of this happens, that I truly beleive is what we can term as “internet being unlocked.” Otherwise, with such high internet and web hosting costs in South Africa, we cannot say internet has been unlocked in South Africa.

SA is lagging behind, come on Mobile networks, please, do something about this. Many people would like to host all their great and crazy internet idea’s (more gaming servers, sites, etc), but they can’t because of the high cost of internet.
