I’ve long been a fan of Issey Miyake Fragrances, in fact I wore L’EAU D’ISSEY EDT on my wedding day. I’ve however not worn the other 2 variants, and so I’ve been comparing them as L’EAU D’ISEEY celebrats 20 years, not a bad job for a Monday afternoon.
L’eau D’Issey was inspired by the simplicity and purity of water. The clean line and simple, clear, bottle also represents the characteristics of water. “Some think design is defined by the beauty of what is useful, but I want to incorporate feelings and emotion.” Issey Miyake
Water combined with Lotus, Rose, Lily and Precious Woods create this romantic fragrance. The EDT is lighter and fresher, perfect for day time use, while the Parfum has a deeper intensity, yet still clean, perfect for a summers evening.
Released in 2011, L’eau D’Issey Floralle is a light & delicate floral fragrance, as soft as a petal, made up of the scent of mandarin orange, rose, lily, floral and woody accords. I love the lightness and romantic feel of all 3 fragrances, I can’t seem to pick a favourite of the three. I guess it’s up to the day and the occasion!
