Last weekend we were treated to a stay at The Cape Royale in Greenpoint. It sure is the perfect spot if you’re visiting the Mother City as you’re in walking distance from the V&A Waterfront, the Stadium should there be something on and generally it’s just so central – i.e. beaches, cable car etc Plus they’ll organize you a shuttle.
I was surprised at the size of the rooms - ours having 2 bedrooms and a full on kitchen – perfect for longer stays as you can do self catering.

You’ll have to of course pop into their gorgeous Equinox Spa! We had a relaxing couples massage in their dual room. The therapists were really professional and the spa itself feels indulgent. Such a treat!
We so enjoyed dinner at their Bistro, Bistro 1800 Degrees, a warm, cosy and relaxed atmosphere with hearty food.
One of those times when you just have to give in to bread! Loved my phyllo encased salmon and side of onion mash! Heaven! And not to mention ending off with a Chocolate Bomb (chocolate fondant) and frangelico crème brulee. Yum!
You’ll need a nice promenade walk/run the next morning which we did – such a nice way to end off our stay! Spoil!
