Just what I needed to see while being on summer holiday in Hermanus, especially with a little one running around outdoors. While I’m pretty good about putting sunscreen on myself when I’m intentionally going to be in the sun, I often disregard it if I’m just popping out for a quick walk etc – It’s so easy to look at ones skin on the surface and say, “hey, I’m doing a good job, my skin looks great” – but little do we know, what lies beneath. This thought provoking Nivea Video has me thinking twice this summer!
An ultra Violet (UV) camera is used to to show beach goers how sun screen protects one skin – and what one’s skin looks like below the surface due to sun exposure. It’s amazing to see the difference between young skin, older skin, those that have been sun-safe, and those that haven’t!

I was sent some of these pocket size Nivea sun screens a while a go and I think they’re fantastic. No excuse not to apply when you can pop them in your pocket! So clever!
Here’s to a sun safe holiday! For more on Nivea sun screen products, see here or follow then on Facebook here xx
