I love to chuck things out and constantly edit my home, I’m more so hating clutter as I get older. But be careful, sometimes we can be throwing money down the drain, when one could be upcycling unwanted items into useful, creative and cash saving pieces. Another way to prevent cash from going down the drain, is to invest in a good insurance company with household insurance making sure you protect your new found art pieces and old treasures. (not to mention shoe cupboard.)

I am mad about these upcycled seats!. Turn your old crates, stacking up in the garage, into funky stools.

Doing a winter edit? Turn your old blankets into shopping bags or old jerseys into blankets.

The garage is my worst for clutter – turn an old filing cabinet into a dream organiser.

Sometimes all you need is a lick of paint! I am loving these cute stools and drawers.

Tired of standing on your kids’ toys? Put them to work and create some designer drawer handles, hooks or cake toppers. Can’t part with granny’s vintage plates? Make a quirky wall feature.

I so need to make Harry some drawers like this!

And how clever is this ladder idea, creating more storage, while an old window frame creates an organiser’s dream home office – those look like my kind of up cycles! Re work and reward, with a deserved latte that is!
