Watch: Casio

I have a little watch thing.  My dad has always been a collector and lover of watches, and as the years have gone by I’ve become more and more preoccupied with collecting vintage time pieces.

When I was in Thailand in December I bought a vintage Casio (yes it’s real!).  Any child of the 80’s probably had one of these babies, and they’re definitely back in vogue.

I love mine, but I do have to admit that I’m hankering after a vintage men’s Rolex.  Not the cheapest watch around, but oh so worth every penny!  EBay has loads on offer:

Aren’t they gorgeous?  I love the chunkiness and masculinity of a man’s watch on a woman’s slender arm!

If however I had to choose a modern watch (for a smidgen of the price of a Rolex), I’d pick one of these unisex, minimalist beauties from Uniform Wares.  How sleek and lovely?

And finally, for another reasonably priced time piece with expensive looks.  I have one of these gorgeous watches already, but there’s always room for another Follie Folli!
