So redo’ing my room with Vamps! The French pedestals in dove grey with cut glass handles.. with the mirror Ohhhh… Stunning comp!
Love the extendable Walnut dining table and the black and cream vintage kitchen dresser sets my heart aflutter!
I receive Vamp’s email every friday and long for an opportunity to own one of these beautiful pieces! Im moving in on my own this month and cant wait to start decorating my flat- unfortunately the cost of moving means it will be a while before I can shop at Vamp:( The first thing I would go for would be the 3 Vintage glass fibre chairs covered in luxurious velvets that I oohed and ahhed over last week. Beautiful colour range and luxury to set the tone for my decorating:) That voucher would be used before even making its way to me!
Love, love, love the Armchair re-upholstered in green. Looks so comfy and inviting
How insanely pretty. I love the yellow server with wood in the middle. Its seriously funky and with such a happy warm color. I would be ecstatic with either option A or B. Beautiful!
Oooooh I love the dove grey chevel mirror
I receive the vamp newsletter and dream the whole weekend about what I can get for my new house. I am particularly dedicated to the dove grey pedestals, and the yellow sideboard. Love the Vamp stuff, popped in there last weekend and found even more yummy stuff!
I COVET the… (amongst 1000 other things on the amazing Vamp blog)…
Retro wall unit with glassed in shelves, drawers and a cupboard in red, dove grey, yellow and cream accents
(L – 190cm, D – 40cm, H – 147.5cm)
I would trade my entire lounge contents for this wall unit, I would gladly sit on the floor and stare at it all night instead of the telly:)
Oh it would have to be the dove grey pedestals and matching cheval..and i’ll give my left pinkie toe for the black and cream vintage kitchen dresser!
I will furnish my whole house with Vamp in a heartbeat. It’s really hard to choose just one thing, but I love the sideboard with cream, grey and yellow accents!
Wow, I absolutely LOVE the dove grey pedestals, they would look amazing in my bedroom! And an armchair for my lounge; I need the extra seating as I only have one couch and have been looking for something like this.
Since my apartment already looks like a Vamp store, what I really really would like to get my hands on is one of those framed leafy heart prints.
Saying that, I’d also be completely content with a selection of luckybox goodies…
I love love love Vamp…and all the pretties there! I love: Mid century armchair upholstered in charcoal fabric with ivory piping and buttons, Sideboard with white, red and grey accents, Sideboard with cream, grey and yellow accents, Bright orange and natural wood coat stand, 70’S multi-coloured music stand in dove grey, red, yellow and cream. OMG…actually I love all of it…impossible to choose.
I really covet the Sapele Mahogany Wall unit. So many clothes and shoes to store and not enough SPACE in my teeny flat. This would really help remove the clutter while looking utterly stylish at the same time.
I have got to have those have those gorgeous dove- grey French bedside pedestals for my seaside boudoir!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Linda
ahh love VAMP! totally torn between the twine sable armchairs and the extendable walnut table.. both would be absolute treasures in the new flat. xx
I have this dream of having my own boudoir all to myself. A whole room filled with feminine luxe in which I can escape from the world! If my man can have a Mancave, I want a boudoir!
Of course the French pedestals would fit perfectly into my dreamy enclave. I can see myself floating away on a cloud of dove blue, hints of crystal, French champagne and macarons!
I would sell my soul for the bedside pedestals! I see beautiful furnishings everyday for work, but wow! Absolutely LOVE them!!!
I’d be over the moon to receive either prize – Paula’s pick would be just fabulous and the R1000.00 voucher would go directly towards the divine pedestals!
Absolutely gorgeous! Viva Vamp!

if i had to narrow it down, it would be the armchairs (particularly the teal pair I saw a while back)..and I’m a big fan of the Mengsel prints too.. and the grey pedestals are seriously pretty .. and.. and.. and..(i could go on..)
I am in the process of getting a place of my own (first time in 4 years!) and decided, while I’m starting from scratch, can just as well do it properly and opted for the retro/contemporary style.
I quickly realised how impossible it can be to find old retro stuff to redo and then I came across VAMP online! I went to the shop last week and it was like walking into retro heaven! And meeting Paula was a pleasure.
First thing that caught my eye, was the very pretty black, red, yellow, cream, tangerine shelving unit and I fell in love with it, but sadly it is a bit out of my budget range.
I also really want the arm chairs with twine sable fabric.
I want everything in the shop, hehe.
Getting that shelving unit will be a dream come true!
Thanks for a lovely shopping experience!

Hi Kim
I am longing for a set of French pedestals in dove grey with cut glass handles, I can picture just how I would revamp my room with them in it.
Thanks for a wonderful blog.
In love with the dove grey chevel mirror!!
I love Vamp Furniture! I covet the Bright orange and natural wood coat stand.
You have no idea how the Friday newsletter VAMP up my day every week!!!
I recently found out about Vamp and drove from Stellenbosch to see the shop. Stunning is an understatement!
I bought a super cute 1950’s style Kitchen Dresser for me last year and I would just L?ve some of the pretty little things in the store to put inside…so yes, there is a few items I would like to have from the Valentines display Kitchen Dresser!!!
WOWZERS! I absolutely love all things Vamp!
I recently moved into a beautiful old, but enormous apartment and all these pieces of Vamp will just love to live in my space, I promise!
Especially those French pedestals!
Love it!
Need it!
Wow! Such gorgeous things! If I absolutely had to narrow it down, I’d choose the pair of teal armchairs. What a stunning colour and classic style – real statement pieces. And since I couldn’t pick just one, I love the dove grey Cheval mirror. I’ve been longing for a full-length mirror and I think this vintage style would go so well with the writing table I repainted (http://baby-birdie.blogspot.com/2010/08/before-after-writing-desk.html)
Oh I could have absolutely everything, but the most coveted piece would have to be the “Rose Dresser with Gilt Mirror” and the perfect colour tooo.
I absolutely LOVE the grey pedestals. Your competitions are awesome!!
I’m a first time home buyer and I just had to renovate my bathroom (it’s just one of those devine areas in the house and it has to look the part). This Dove grey Cheval mirror will be perfect for it! Please give me, give me my name is Jimmy!!!
Everything from vamp looks great….I am never afford this…trying to win….I just love the bedside pedestals….like the colour and that antique look…..
I just love the bedside pedestals….like the colour and that antique look…..very classic in appearance
Timeless design, solid wood, quality materials and classic lines: all of these can be found in the “Sapele Mahogany Wall unit with light grey, bright yellow, electric blue and cream accents”, as well as the “Mahogany armchairs covered in green with teal piping and buttons” – it would be a hard choice! I see a vision of the wall units and chairs in our house next to the fireplace, still there years from now when my daughter (now a toddler) has grown up and one day maybe my grandchildren will covet them too… Vamp is the place for pieces that are timeless and trendy!
The voucher, please!! R1000 to spend at Vamp would make me dizzy!
Hello Kim:)
I absolutely LOVE all the VAMP pieces, but particularly love the duck egg leafy heart(have a thing for hearts) and the VAMP pair of armchairs:)
All stunning xo
i love the duck egg french pedestals and mirror!
I’m in love with VAMP, I’d longing for a sideboard and have asked Paula to keep a look out for me, just so special seeing these old pieces restored and made new.
I love the set of French pedestals in dove grey with cut glass handles. OMG they are just gorgeous! The Vamp brand is brilliant because their items are so elegant! A room with their items will just stand out!
I would love the gift card, I have fallen for the Vintage glass fibre chairs, and everything else
Great blog by the way !
I am SO drooling over the ‘Armchair re-upholstered in green, makers mark “G+T”‘
LOVE it!
It seems I am not the only person coveting those French Pedestals – it is obvious why – they have an art deco elegance that makes me want to smoke a cigarette in a long cigarette holder and sip champagne out of a Marie Antoinette glass while swinging a long string of Coco Chanel pearls to the tune of La Vie en rose! They are inspirational pieces!
Desperate for this so giving it another shot. Love love love the Vamp kitchen unit. Slowly trying to accumulate things for one day when I have a house of my own. This would be a great item to start with, seen as so far I have 12 bowls, 12 plates and a few glasses. This would be a dream!
What’s not to love? I’m coveting all things mid century and ‘vamped’ up! The armchairs, the peg leg stools and of course the Mengsel silk screen prints…*swoon*
What do i covet? firstly EVERYTHING on this week’s new stock mail from Paula… but if you MAKE me choose… I want the “Shelving unit in black, red, yellow, cream and tangerine” http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IIRLU3FH4iA/TTnQzHY-VLI/AAAAAAAAA1A/6uM-l8kp3rk/s400/PIC+2_VAMP_MULTI+COLOUR+SHELF_21012011.JPG
pretty please…
