I’d share them with my husband and good friends…nothing like spreading the wealth!

  2. Katherine 10. Mar, 2011 at 07:25

Hmm! I would EAT them, one by one :) I’d hide them in the cupboard and hope nobody finds them. And then, if my husband is really good, I’d give him one.

  3. Nurjahn 10. Mar, 2011 at 07:27

I’ll share it at my daughters 6th Princess party .I’ll come as her “sweet tooth”fairy

  4. Barbara 10. Mar, 2011 at 07:45

I’d eat them, all by myself :D might share one or two with my boyfriend. I’ll have to hide them from myself though, otherwise I might just eat them all in one go 8o

  5. Estee 10. Mar, 2011 at 07:55

Would take them with on my picnic with BF and share them with him with champagne!!!

  6. Erna 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:01

I’d eat one each day until they are finished( I’m not a Capetonian so I don’t have access to these decadent delicacy’s)
When I’m finished I’ll cover the box nicely to store some of my trinkets!

  7. Jenna 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:01

I’m pregnant, so i would probably eat the whole box with some tea..I might spare one or two for my husband!hehe..I got the craving for some yumminess!

  8. Jasmine 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:24

I am going to have a madhatter tea party with my girls! Dress-up and all! :D

  9. Lorna 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:25

I’m planning to have a tea-party with my girlfriend soon and would love to share it with them, it fit right into the theme i planned “Alice in Wonderland”! I love it colourful! xxx

  10. Kelly 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:27

I tasted my first macaroon in December and I was in heaven. I would have a little tea party all by myself and indulge in this delicious box of decadence. Okay, maybe I will invite a few of my girlfriends over and share too.

  11. Monique 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:30

I would eat them, one by one, all on my own. They are too yummy to share. Sorry!

  12. Rebecca 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:40

I’d host a Marie Antoinette-themed tea party with my three BFFs and we’d eat them, four at a time, washing them down with some bubbly. Bliss!

  13. Nicky 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:42

My whole family arives from overseas on 24 March to help with the week-before-wedding prep. I would share these with everyone at a special tea on our first weekend together in ages, in between the rushing around….

  14. Emily Skye 10. Mar, 2011 at 08:45

Five of my best friends have dissapeared for various corners of the world (two are on the Southern Ocean!), but they all are back over the long weekend (19-21st, a coincidence…) We plan to spend the 23rd on Signal Hill at sunset, drinking good champagne and catching up on all the travel stories. Daniela’s macaroons would be the perfect accompaniment.

  15. Megan 10. Mar, 2011 at 09:00

I am a macaroon obssessed!!! Such a perfect treat anytime of the day! My first thought would be to eat the entire beautiful box on my own. However, my friend Tanja is equally obsessed so I would probably have a tea party with her, but only her.

  16. Amy 10. Mar, 2011 at 09:08

They’d already have disappeared somewhere between collecting them and arriving home..despite my most earnest efforts. Just too irresistible.

  17. Jacci 10. Mar, 2011 at 09:14

i could lie and say that i’d share them with friends or family, but i won’t. i would make myself a lovely cup of tea, grab a good book or trashy magazine and go find a quiet spot in my house and eat the lot!

  18. Sasha 10. Mar, 2011 at 09:19

I’m ashamed to say that I have never tasted macaroons! I would enjoy them in fascination and absolute pleasure (and float off into a dreamland imagining Sash royalty)!

  19. Anna 10. Mar, 2011 at 09:31

Before I devour them all, I’ll take a picture that I can frame and keep on my chest of drawers as a pretty little reminder.

Them I’ll spend a whole weekend in bed*, with my hubby and two kitties, and catch up on all the good TV shows we never have time to watch.

The box I’ll keep for for all my ribbons and other little silly things that I tend to collect.

    *Coffee and Champagne mandatory.

  20. Mareli 10. Mar, 2011 at 09:42

    I would eat one myself.
Then I would take the rest over to my friend who had a baby girl last week and we would catch up over tea and macaroons…
And hopefully there will be some left over so that I can have one last one before going to bed!

  21. Jesse 10. Mar, 2011 at 09:53

I would eat them. All. By myself!

  22. Bianca 10. Mar, 2011 at 10:22

I would share them with my darling husband – a sweet French reminder as to why we’re putting away money each month to fund our trip to Paris in December.

  23. Diana 10. Mar, 2011 at 10:36

I’d share them with my baby – I’m 34 weeks pregnant :) Yummy!

  24. Fiona 10. Mar, 2011 at 10:47

I would have a candle lit bubble bath for one (ME!), a glass of champers and 5 decadent mac’s a night for 5 nights in a row!!

  25. Jackie 10. Mar, 2011 at 11:17

All mine !!! They look absolutely divine.

  26. Ilana Bester 10. Mar, 2011 at 11:21

I would share it with my mom…she has all the qualities of a macaroon..SIMPLY THE BEST!!

  27. Dominick 10. Mar, 2011 at 12:20

A friend of mine has just had her first child – a boy nogal! I would give them to her to share with her husband, so to help ease those gruesome nights and to remind them why they fell in love! The little bugger is all over them like a rash. They have no time for each other, LOL!

  28. Vickie Gibson 10. Mar, 2011 at 12:27

I’d have a tea party with my 2 daughters out in the garden with real tea cups, tea pot and napkins etc. And of course some gorgeous macaroons :-)

  29. Roxanne 10. Mar, 2011 at 13:30

I’d probably stuff my face in the box and grab a mouthfull, being careful to save one to send to John Travolta

  30. Jemima-Faye 10. Mar, 2011 at 13:59

As much I would like to claim to want to offer them to the hungry or send them to Ethiopia to feed a small village, I am by no means that philanthropic.

I would be more inclined to make a macaroon bodice with them – very Lady Gaga’esque, right? It, unfortunately, wouldn’t get the same exposure as an ensemble on the red carpet, but it would certainly attract a lot of attention at Giovanni’s…

  31. Mariza 10. Mar, 2011 at 14:58

    Girlfriends – tick
    Artisan tea – tick
    French Champagne – tick

And in the centre of our admiring group poised around the marvel ….. Daniela’s macaroon perfections!

Life, just a little more perfect.

  32. Chantelle 10. Mar, 2011 at 16:19

I’d send them to my mom and sister in Cape Town as a thank you for helping me plan a Cape Town wedding from the UK… They’d love it!

  33. michness 10. Mar, 2011 at 19:42

i’d frolic through some flower fields and feed them to my imaginery mr darcy…in an ideal world :) xx

  34. asha parbhoo 10. Mar, 2011 at 21:31

I would make the ideal drink (masala chai) , invite a few friends over and have a great afternoon with those yummy macaroons!

  35. Kirsten 10. Mar, 2011 at 22:27

I would have a tea party under the tree in my garden, using my collection of antique tea cups!

  36. Rochelle 11. Mar, 2011 at 02:53

I Would go hide and EAT them ALL

  37. Zahrah 11. Mar, 2011 at 04:37

I will give it to the lovely ladies who helped bring my confidence back and made me feel pretty inside and out. I am one of their groupies on Facebook. Reading all their articles and interacting with them made a difference in my life. So if I win the macaroons, I’ll drop it off their office as a gift of gratitude for empowering women all over the world. I love Pretty Network.

  38. Genevieve 11. Mar, 2011 at 07:29

Well eat them of course! YUM! Perhaps take them to I heart Market and share with all the girls :-)

  39. Kimberley 11. Mar, 2011 at 07:44

Parents are going away for a long deserved holiday, so this can be part of our little bon voyage dinner.

  40. Athena Turner 11. Mar, 2011 at 08:34

I’d put on some Edith Piaf, run a bubble bath with candles, close my eyes and savour a few mouthfuls … I’d only share because there are too many to eat alone :) So after the bubbles, I’d invite my few favourite people around, make a delicious pot of tea in my grand-mother’s tea pot and enjoy good conversation, while savouring these Macaroons – angel food!

  41. Nici 11. Mar, 2011 at 08:59

    A picnic in the Park.

Jameson Park (rose garden) in Durban is possibly the most beautiful setting to indulge in those decadently delicious macaroons. Invite along a few of my girls, add in some vino, a packed picnic lunch and we’re set for a leisurely afternoon laze.

  42. Chantel 11. Mar, 2011 at 11:01

I won’t lie, I will probably eat them all up before anyone gets a change to even see them. Maybe, just maybe, I will give my fiance one!

  43. Marina 11. Mar, 2011 at 15:01

Beautiful indeed! I will invite my friends over for a late Sunday afternoon high-tea…with a French twist aka lots of sparkling wine to accompany these goodies.

  44. Dhesh 13. Mar, 2011 at 10:34

A tea party using my quirky spotted tea set and these lovely, colourful delights.
