You’ve been framed

Last week I met up with Mark Hilltout at his awe-inspiring loft in woodstock.

Mark makes these beautiful one-of-a-kind- corrugated iron frames. See here for the different colours and finishes. It’s a nice change from the rustic wood frames that have almost saturated the framing world.

 

Above is his studio – part of his loft, and below some of the materials used to make up the frames. He’s also just started producing these amazing woven baskets out of the corrugated iron. So clever.

Here are 2 pieces of corrugated iron I chose to make up some frames – I can’t wait to share the finished product with you.
