Inspired by the “Flash Dance” era, Retro Aerobics at Virgin Active is taking the country by storm.
“Leg Warmer Love, a Virgin Active initiative, hits the streets of Cape Town again by yarn bombing Gavin Younge’s nine-metre high sculpture outside the CTICC.
Following the international “yarn-bombing” movement, Virgin Active has been bombing the streets of Cape Town with hand-made knits. This time the leg warmers are yellow in support of Cape Town becoming the World Design Capital in 2014. There are only seven days until the winner of this prestigious title is announced on the 26th of October 2011.” says Virgin Active
