Once again Li Edelkoort spoke at this years Design Indaba and I got to attend thanks to Woolworths. Li gave a talk on trend predictions for 2013 with inspiring visuals and a great sense of humour.
I loved that colour palettes were inspired by the spiritual elements of our every day lives. Like the breaking and smelling of freshly baked bread, those first rays of light, how everything, plants, birds and us, are connected. Gosh there is so much to tell, but I could go on forever. What you must know however, is white will be BIG!
Something I was really keen to check out is her newest venture, the Trend Tablet. Packed with inspiring images like below, this platform is all about sharing global trends. Definitely worth checking out.
