New Series: Tips From Friends

After an indulgent 5 days in London, I felt like I needed a little re-boot (A detox if you will . . . ). Before leaving, I remembered my friend Yelda telling me about her mamma’s home detox brew. She mentioned it was doing great things for the glow-factor. I thought I’d give it a go.


Recipe: (Rough guide / quantity is for 1 day)

1.5L water

juice of 1 lemon (I use a big fat juicy organic lemon)

1 green apple

1 cinnamon stick


piece ginger

Boil up and simmer for 15/20 minutes. Cool before drinking.

I’ve really enjoyed making this daily as it’s pretty easy and it’s really refreshing. I’ve also added in a drop or two of dōTERRA lemon essential oil. Taken internally, Lemon provides cleansing and digestive benefits and supports healthy respiratory function.

I made a batch every day for 5 days.  I’m guessing the longer you do it the better.
