From an early age I knew I wanted to do something creative! Having grown up with parents involved in the advertising industry I soon developed a passion for styling and design. (I used to love watching my dad on big TV commercials, admiring the stylists and make-up artists!)

After a course in make up and special effects, I joined Marie Claire Magazine where I cut my teeth with some of the industry’s best feature writers and fashion editors. ( I owe great thanks to René Reay Reeves and Giselle Hon for being the most incredible mentors!)

In 2004 I made the decision to go on my own as a freelance stylist and gained clients such as American Swiss Jewellery, Truworths, Cameo, Triumph, Yardley, J&B Met, Shape Magazine, Oprah Magazine and many more.

Later I started blogging as an outlet for my creativity, sharing with readers a little ‘ insight’ into the fashion and decor industry. Soon this hobby became a passion, thus turning it into a business.

So, welcome to my blog! (My baby!)

Kimgray.co.za is an award winning website/blog solely written and managed by myself, Kim Gray. I’ve had the privilege of being featured in most of S.A.’s top glossy magazines and work with incredible local & international brands. My aim is to deliver personalized, quality content, showcasing products that I believe in and/or would buy or use myself. My blog features latest products or collections, reviews, styling inspiration, personal experiences and shopping information regarding fashion, decor, beauty, wellness & travel.

Currently I am living in Dublin, Ireland. (With a few visits home per year to my home town, sunny Cape Town.)
