I’m so in love with metro tiles, and that’s exactly what I’m using in my Kitchen Make Over from Tile Africa.
Tile Africa have a fantastic selection.
Can’t wait to see them with my new White Alaska Phoenix Stone tops from W.O.M.A.G.
SPONSORS:
I had so much fun at the W.O.M.A.G show rooms selecting my counter tops for my Kitchen Make Over. The selection and variety is amazing.
They offer these fabulous sample pieces for you to take home and play around with the different colours and textures. Just love these grey tones.
I’ve select the Phoenix Stone in White Alaska. Can’t wait to replace my old chipping wood tops for this sleek , clean and crisp look. I love that the fine speckles just soften the look slightly.Over the next few weeks make sure to follow my “My Design Series: Kitchen Make Over” as I document the Before & After process.
SPONSORS:
Yay, so we’ve started. I’m very excited to be re-doing my kitchen which I’ll document on “My Design Series”. I have some fabulous brands on board that are going to make my dream kitchen come true! Can’t wait to share.
BEFORE:
Ah I can’t wait to de-clutter and get in some simple clean lines and a fresh new look. I’m basically replacing the tiles thanks to Tile Africa, putting in new kitchen tops thanks to Phoenix Stone Quartz Surface, part of the W.O.M.A.G group and getting in a new sink thanks to Franke and a mixer thanks to Hansgrohe, both available at ON TAP.
And here’s the look I’m going for more or less. Plus, watch out for fabulous finishes from brands like L.I.M. & Entrepo. Excited!
SPONSORS:
When we moved into our house we pulled out all the bamboo reeds from the patio roof as they were a little worse for ware, and screeded the patio which was bricked before. So I was very excited to do a very over-due, refresh of our patio recently.
BEFORE:
Sticks from The Pole Yard are slotted in.
Then I rescue two old Mr Price lanterns from our wedding and get busy! I’ve sprayed them in Plascon Perfect Finish Gloss White. I used 3 cans for the 2 lanters. I could have probably used less but I did spray them in the wind. ( Stupid but you know the feeling when you want something done NOW!)
AFTER:
And Voilà! Simple, yet effective.
So as you know, I’m doing some finishing touches to my guest room. (See Part 1) – Well I was very excited browsing at Entrepo ( that shop captivates me for hours) when I found these awesome Muuto Coat Hooks. I can’t wait to get them up!

Here’s an example of how they’ll look. They even had an eye popping green, so cool! Pop back to see the finishing touches and what else I bought.
