I am feeling renewed after spending a night with old school friends on my friend Carla’s wine farm in Malmesberry. We made pizza’s from scratch and styled them to our hearts content, drank good wine and had a lazy lunch the next day in the neighbouring town of Riebeek Kasteel. Well I am ready to sell my city abode and live in the quaint little town. A stylists dream with buzzing eateries and shops filled with wrought iron furniture,wooden hearts, homemade jams, coconut ice, enamel jugs and patterned wellies. (which came home with me for the winter weather.)

The shops are fulled with beautiful decor. Clay angels with wire wings and hearts in every possible material thinkable. I though so much about Pia’s project. My heart wonders. My friends had to hold me back and remind me about my trip in less than a month , but I still managed to slipped past these gorgeous sage green wellies! (I pulled out every excuse in the book why I NEEDED them.)

Having been twice now I just want to go back and stay a little longer.
