Spring is on it’s way for us in South Africa, yay at last there are some signs of sun today after plenty of rain!
Here are some of summers trends to brighten up your wardrobe for spring.
Floral prints are big. Think enchanted forest, 70’s floral prints, fairies and colour! long maxi dresses and flowing fabrics. Head scarves and big flowers brooches.
Citrus colours. Think tropical Bali style palm trees, watermelon, lemon, melons and oranges, bursting with vibrancy.
The Grecian Goddess reigns in luxurious fabrics, satins, chiffon’s, a-symetrical style dresses. Glamour, glamour, glamour!
Folkloric, embroidery, tassels and embellishment all round up this log cabin look.
Ethnic, think worldly tribes, Asian inspired prints, African prints being most popular, feather trims, animal prints and lots of wooden accessories to layer.
Safari, think luxury travel, tailored lines, short shorts and oh so chic. Again lots of wooden accessories in clean shapes.
Think of an artists muse, bursts of colour, graffiti style prints, tie dyes and brush strokes.

Sultry Romance, frills, ruffles in muted soft tones, soft whimsical style dresses and blouses.
So if I have learnt one thing, Spring is in, florals, flowers, tropical colours and petals are a plenty.
