Lula Fabrics

My Design Series

So for those that followed My Design Series – Bathroom Make-Over, you’ll know that I finished that, but have finally added the finishing touches!

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Love my Mzansi Afrika mirror from Paper Cake.

Sheer linen curtains from a fave fabric supplier, Lula Fabrics.

Basin and blue stool from fave decor shop, Moroccan Warehouse and fittings from On Tap.

Now I’m just sad that this is the guest bathroom in our outside room and not inside.

New lula fabrics range

Lula Fabrics has just launched its latest collection,  The Silk Road, inspired by the hand-woven textiles and Ikat and Suzani prints of ancient China and the desert oases of Bhukhara, Samarkand, Kashgar.Stunning.

Lula surprise

I popped into Lula Fabrics this week to fetch my Delicious Monster Fabric for my pool lounger cushions. I was very excited to see a little fashion offering there. How cool are their bags and pumps.

My fabric being cut.

So inspired I went home with these pink trim leopard print pumps too.

Do pop into their showroom. It’s great fun!

New lula fabrics show room & sale

Lula Fabrics have expanded their show room with loads of gorgeous fabrics and new products to view. You can find them at Unit 4, 35 Wesley Street Canterbury Studios, Gardens.

From the 14th November to 15th December, they will be having a clearance sale on select fabrics. Plus stock up on Christmas pressies like aprons, pumps, cushions and bunting. x

My design series

So, day two of bathroom renovations. I can’t believe how much bigger this tiny bathroom feesl just having knocked out the shower doors. Now we’ll  just have 2 half walls that will be screeded white. Hopefully tomorrow my ON TAP pieces will be revealed.

In other news. I finally got my Lula Fabrics Curtains made. (Thanks mom!) Well one half for now anyway. Love this sheer linen fabric. Just softens the room beautifully.
