Now somewhere I’ve not been before, and am SO lucky to have been to, is The Table at De Meye! What a treat! Set underneath a canopy of trees, a relaxed restaurant with hearty food makes for a long lazy lunch!
They have corkage – and so we totally took advantage to enjoy some Hermanuspietersfontein Bubbly. The best bubbly I’ve tasted in a while! SO easy drinking & perfect for summer, day-time celebrations!
Take a breather between your fist course and enjoy a little wine tasting at the De Meye cellar – we rather enjoyed a few bottles of their Shiraz Rose!
After the most hearty, delicious and comforting, home-cooked meal – explore the veggie garden, relax on their blankets under a tree or chat amongst yourselves with no time pressures!
This was honestly one of the most relaxing, delicious, unpretentious yet inspiring & on trend experiences! They are busy establishing a wedding venue too – highly recommended if you’re looking to get marries sometime next year!

Should we have no stock, it can take up to 1 week for us to ship the order. We are completely transparent with our customer, indicating lead times on the product detail page itself and keeping them informed via customer service and dedicated e-mailers.
We are working toward speeding up the process but for now would rather over-compensate in terms of indicating expected lead times than disappoint.
We’ve also recently introduced a new “personal sommelier” feature.Having developed an algorithm, which generates a mail suggesting 6 wines for purchase based on tasting profile, alcohol percentage, sugar level, varietal and origin of the grape, from previous purchases. Suggestions are sent out 10 days after the most recent purchase. Should the user purchase all 6 suggestions at once they will receive free shipping.
