Thanks so much to the fabulous Kim for letting me guest blog here today. I’m sure she asked me to do this post because she knows I’m obsessed with shoes, more specifically, boots!

Although it’s still hot out, Autumn is upon us and while we can’t get excited about the sun going down, we sure can get excited about shoes. Check out these hot heels and boot trends currently in stores at Woolworths. For more shoe trends, keep an eye out on http://www.StyleScoop.co.za.

GREY

Grey boots are so great for winter, so if you’ve got a pair from last season, haul them out. If not, go grab a pair – they are so versatile and go with just about anything!

Look how effortless Kate Hudson looks in this ensemble – and how easy to recreate!

Woolies have a great grey boot options no matter your style. The pair at the bottom left is great for work with its cute button detail, and if you want something slouchy and effortless for the weekend to wear over a pair of skinnies, the pair on the right is my top pick!

BIKER BOOTS

So Rihanna! Forget the zips and heavy duty boots though, these biker style beauties from Woolies are spot on stylish! And how trendy (and Rihanna) are these tops from Re-Jeans? I’m in love – put any detail on the shoulder and I’m sold!

HOW I’D WEAR BIKER BOOTS:

With Jeggings, a sexy top and a statement shirt worn as a jacket!

These boots and the button up top aren’t too biker harsh, but I’d soften up the rough and rugged look with this cute (and I’m so going back for it after pay day) sequin vest.

I’d wear it over jeggings – Woolies make great jeggings – and have it peep out just a little at the bottom.

For me, being a Durban girl, a leather jacket would be far too hot – even in the middle of winter – so this button up shirt from Re-Jeans is just perfect worn as a jacket.

MORE BOOT TRENDS:

I love these black mock suede booties with a fold over effect and cone heel (top left).

Brown riding boots are a must for every fashionista (top right).

Cute and totally different, these would look very retro chic worn with black opaque tights and floral dress (bottom left).

Casual, cool and comfy! A must for those days when comfort really does matter! How ideal would these be for a trip down to the Kruger, or even jet setting to your holiday destination? (bottom right)

I’m loving these boots below, in fact I covet them big time! Role on winter! I’d wear them with skinny jeans and a parker or …

With a military style coat or jacket. Military styling is a huge trend on the catwalks this winter.

Woolworths is unpacking loads of fashionable boots, right on trend for those winter chills. I can’t wait to go and shop!  Watch out for the brand new Woolworths Boots TV Commercial. Here’s a little behind the scene’s I thought was fun to share, enjoy! xx

My lust list on stylescoop

Dimi from style scoop is showcasing fashion bloggers, beauty eds and celeb Summer Lust Lists. Here’s mine below.

1. Fold up,  Polarized Wayferers from Sunglass Hut
Polarizes lenses are a must this summer. Pop into your nearest Sunglass Hut to test a pair out. You’ll notice a phenomenal difference in preventing glare from the sun. I love the Rayban fold up wayferers not only for their style but the fold up fit into the smallest of handbags and leave you more space for all your other summer essentials.

2. La Mer Mist
It hydrates and balance this skin with this miracle mist. Not only does is heal the skin and refresh one on those hot summer days, but it gives you that perfect Hollywood dewy glow

3. Satchel or saddle bags are huge this summer
I love the Missibaba Little Cow Girl Collection. Every bag is unique and made with care and with the best quality leather and craftmenship. I love the casual yet stylish look of this bag.

Thanks lovely Dimi for the feature!

Dimi tells us more:

“According to a Conde Nast Bridal Media survey, one quarter of the engaged women polled, believe that no one understands them quite as much as other brides to be. This survey also revealed that 49% of brides become obsessive list makers once the wedding planning begins and 25% admit to forgetting things.

With stats like that, it’s not hard to understand why so many brides suffer from pre-wedding day stress. From choosing the most beautiful wedding dress to the ensuring perfection in the tiniest décor detail.  Brides can do with a little helper, accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Bridesbuzzing.com, offers a daily collection of blogs from South African Brides to “Bee” .  Filled with great info, advice and ideas to help all those buzzing brides plan their dream wedding. Bridesbuzzing.com is also a great looking, easy to navigate meeting place, to discuss topics of relevance and bounce ideas from one buzzing bride to the next.”
