I had a ball shopping for a few of my dream home ware items.

Loved this classic, round wooden side table set  for R1200.

Now this slick Carrol Boyes (R1200) 4 piece cutlery set is bound to wow your dinner guests.Very mod indeed.

Talking about wowing your guests. What about a lemon and mint cocktail in these gorgeous fleur des lis drinking glasses with matching jug from Poetry at around R430. I think they’d be fabulous to serve a sorbet or pud in too. Just so pretty.

And how about serving them on this beautiful Moroccan style tray. (R150)

Fabulous for the kitchen – or to take to the dinner table to show your guests what’s on the menu, this must-have large chalk board from Loads Of Living. (R680)

I’m a huge fan of anglepoise lamps. I love this red one for a home office or bedside lamp.

And what a way to end, or start your day, than with this ultra cool Bodum Kettle (R1088 Carrol Boyes Store Canal Walk) Covet!

With shops like @home, carol boyes, boardmans and loads of living , I'll finally be able to do so not to mention that marion and lindie will help me look like a princess when I host my flat warming and if I'm really lucky meet my future ex husband and then shop at bride and co and american express.

wowowow! I am a huge fan of supporting local designers, so the first stops I would make would be to Marion and Lindie and Poetry to pick up some locally designed, beautifully made garements. Loads of Living and Boardmans also often have ranges that are made in South Africa. And of course Stuttafords stocks some local designers like Errol Arendz, Love water love and hip hop.
