Well it’s about time I gave you some lip! I’m totally addicted to lip balms and now that I’ve found a few fave colours, lip sticks too! Nothing like a little colour to brighten your day. Here are a few of my “Best In Lips!”

PREP: I’ve been using the Clarins Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm for a while now and I love it. I use it mornings and at night before bed. It has a wonderful waxy texture that feels incredibly moisturizing. It contains Rose Wax which contains soothing properties and locks in moisture. The packaging is great for beach bags and if you’re a no make-up girl, it give lips a healthy looking finish.. Love it!

COLOUR: Hot off the press, and in stores September, is Estee Lauder Double Wear Lipstick, with 12 hour staying pour! Wow, some intense colour is packed into these lipsticks. I wore my favourite, “Raspberry Stay” to a launch last wk, and a glass of bubbly, 2 cups of coffee and some sourcing later, I still had a lovely cerise pout! Loving these very glam, bright and cheery colours!

GLOSS: These lovely little Care Gloss and Shine tubes by Labello are pretty nifty, they’re small and well packaged. At a price that will appeal to most, these fruity smelling lip glosses give subtle colour and loads of shine. I am loving Care Gloss And Shine Lovely Red with it’s vanilla and strawberry fragrance.

DOUBLE UP: Loved for it’s vintage tin, Rosebud Salve will cure more than your chapped lips. Rub it onto dry skin, baby’s bum or itchy bites to sooth. The nice thing is it last for ages and makes for pretty gifts.

What ever the hour, what ever the occasion, I think there is a lippy here for you! Go give it lip girls!

I went to the Oh so pretty Benefit Brow Bar Launch at the V&A Waterfront last Friday. Pink meringue towers, cappuccinos and demonstrations kept Beauty Ed’s and Blogger happy! I was pretty amazed at the organization and presentation of the Brow Bar Stations. And yes, a simple trim and brow wax can change your face completely. Let the leaders in eyebrow shaping, shape your face!

We got lovely goodie bags which included the High Brow Pencil above. Amazing how a little highlight on the brow bone can open up and brighten eyes. If you’d like to have a little lesson before trying it out yourself, Benefit Brow Bars are awaiting you, no need to even make an appointment.

So if you catch your browse looking a little bushed, reflecting in the Woolies window, you can pop in in a hurry! Tweezing is R55 and waxing R65. Not bad considering a good brow shape can make your nose look thinner and your eye’s bigger. You won’t be raising a brow in disappointment.

BE DELICIOUS FRESH BLOSSOM would be my favourite! Besides the crisp sweet fragrances, the shape of these bottles are so comfortable to hold. Comfortably fitting  in your palm, I give these little apples the thumbs up for design. An apple for each occasion, breakfast, lunch and dinner! I like it!

Firstly before I tell you about this product, thanks to VO5 for the amazing bag of products! So much to chose from! These 2 stood out for me, though I’ll try more and let you know!

Personally I would never buy hair spray, it fondly reminds me of my grandmother, but I would never think of using it myself. So I was very impressed when I tested the new on the market,  Alberto VO5 Illuminating Hair Spray.(Anyway, I’m a sucker for the words, shine, gloss, illuminate).

I have long hair, but it needs some taming in order not to look like I stepped out the 80’s. So this was great! No stickiness, fine fly away hairs were smoothed and my hair felt and looked healthy! I’ll definitely keep using this product!

YUM, another fragrance winner. This smells awesome! I often straighten my hair (back to the 80’s prevention thing) and find sometimes dead straight hair can look a little, well dead straight. A 1 cent coin amount of the Texturising Gum rubbed in on ones fingers, and roughly run through your hair, adds for a bit of chunky texture. Fantastic for short hair!

Another one that will be used and experimented with in the future!
