My Current Top 5 Beauty Faves

I’m not a big make-up girl, but these 5 products I use daily or swear by!

1.) Revlon have launched 5 nifty new Mascara’s for every girls needs! Volume, Length, Definition, Volum& Length & the show-stopping, Ultimate All-in-One mascara. My favourite is the Ultra Volume. My lashes are quite long, but lack fullness – this is just the perfect, clump-free definition my lashes crave!

Revlon Ultimate All-in-One Mascara R159.99 / Revlon Ultra Volume™ Mascara R149.99 / Revlon Super Length™ Mascara R149.99 / Revlon Volume+Length Magnified™ Mascara R149.99 / Revlon Dramatic Definition™ Mascara R149.99 – Available at leading pharmacies and departmental stores nationwide.

2.) Cult favourite to make-up artists around the world, the Smiths Rosebud Salves are to be found all around my house – on my desk, in various handbags & my toiletry & travel bag! They pack a nourishing pout! And the tins just feel special! (R130)

3.) I don’t know why, but I’ve gone off fragrances, maybe becuase I’ve just been so spoilt in the past having to test so many out . . . but the Chanel no. 5 Fragrance Body Powder (R975.00, exclusive to Chanel Beauty Studios in selected Edgars Stores) is still a daily fave! It’s subtle and the ritual of using the powder puff in the morning is a treat.

4.) I don’t wear a lot of foundation – but on the days I feel I need it, I love the Clarins Ever Lasting Foundation, using it sparingly under my eyes, around the nose & chin, it offers great coverage, a velvety smooth texture and fantastic lasting power! Smells good too! (R415)

5.) I found the Human & Kind hand cream quite surprising – I usually love the texture of a thick, waxy feeling hand cream – this one, being quite light & fluid, actually works better, as it absorbs easily, doesn’t leave your hands feeling oily and I can feel the immediate relief if offers dry skin! It’s all natural too, and made in Ireland 🙂 You can find it at leading health stores or Clicks.
